With the support of the European Office in Prishtina within the project of “Training and Education with marketable ICT skills for Employment and Self-employment in Kosovo”, ICK launches the internal call for applications for start-ups to benefit from Voucher Support Scheme for consultancy services.
Start-ups and companies that have signed an incubation contract, virtual Incubation contract or are graduated from Incubator, and who are legally registered as a business under the laws of Kosovo and are currently using ICK services, have the right to apply for grants from the Voucher Scheme. Application is extended until April 23rd, 2019 at 16:00.
The ICK Voucher Scheme is designed to help ICK Incubator businesses grow and become more commercially viable. As part of the acceleration process, ICK will provide start-up voucher support in the value of up to 6,000 euro per start-up team or aspiring entrepreneur leading to tailor made consulting services to a selected group of up to 10 promising start-ups, for two years. The vouchers will serve as financial support for specialized capacity building measures for successful start-ups and aspiring entrepreneurs, as well as for financial support to promote prospective ideas generated within start-ups.
Through the Voucher Scheme, services will be provided to beneficiaries redeemable for tailor made consulting. These services will help these startups increase their capacities and be successful.
In order to be eligible for a voucher, startups must be an ICK Incubator business client with a potentially marketable product or service and a plan to achieve revenues and profitability. Start-ups and companies that have signed an incubation contract, virtual Incubation contract or are graduated from Incubator, and who are legally registered as a business under the laws of Kosovo and are currently using ICK services, have the right to apply for grants from the Voucher Scheme.
Vouchers shall be used to support the success and competitiveness of the applicant’s business, as outlined and may include the following uses as examples:
• Business development
• Marketing Strategies
• Feasibility Studies
• Financial Analysis/Projections
• Cost and Price/Break-Even Analysis
• Market Analysis
• Networking Provision and Support
Vouchers may only be used to support approved activities in the Startups’s Application. Vouchers funds may not be used for any costs deemed unallowable or for any goods or services that are ineligible or restricted under ICK or Republic of Kosovo Government regulations.
Voucher support may not be used for:
• Start-ups supported by this Voucher cannot have any other support of the same nature or for the same purposes from other funds/donors;
• Rent and other fixed costs;
• Ceremonies, parties, celebrations, or “representation” expenses;
• Purchase of goods;
• Previous obligations and/or bad debts;
• Fines and/or penalties;
• Creation of endowments;
• Activities that are inconsistent with international standards of human rights or with democratic goals of racial and ethnic tolerance and harmony;
