Before taking out a loan, it is crucial to prepare well and analyze your finances carefully. A loan can open many opportunities, but it also carries risks if you act rashly. In this lecture, we will look at why solid planning is essential before taking out a loan, what steps you should take in advance and how to assess the long-term impact of a loan on your financial situation. By planning well, we can avoid financial shortfalls and make informed decisions for our future.
Aims of the workshop: #PlanBeforeYouBorrow
1.Understand the importance of credit planning: Participants will recognize why it is important to do comprehensive financial planning before taking out a loan.
2. Assessing their own financial situation: Participants will learn to realistically analyze their income, expenses and potential risks to assess their creditworthiness. 3.Decision-making when taking out a loan: Participants are given tools and methods to decide when a loan makes sense and how to choose the right type of loan.
4. Long-term financial planning: Participants will develop an understanding of how credit affects their long-term financial situation and how to manage debt sustainably.
5. Avoiding over-indebtedness: The workshop shows strategies on how to protect oneself from overindebtedness and how to deal responsibly with credit offers.
A good command of English is required.
Jennifer is a seasoned team leader in the Corporate Customer Consulting Division at a prominent German Savings bank. Since completing her banking training in 2018, she has consistently advanced her professional skills, including further education in savings and insurance. With substantial experience managing large teams, Jennifer has embraced ongoing challenges, particularly in onboarding new division members. To enhance her expertise and contribute to intercultural exchange, she is about to be two months at the DSIK Office in Kosovo, where she is ready to share knowledge
