All around us there are different colors, printed materials of various sizes, and images constructed by pixels. These are all a result of the beautiful profession of graphic design, the art of combining digital forms, text, and symbols, to represent an idea on an advertising space.
Digital forms, as the main element of graphic design, are all created by pixels. Through pixels a graphic designer has the ability to convey an idea or emotion to a target audience. Another important tool for a designer is photography. The necessity for photos in graphic design cannot be ignored, which is why choosing the right photo with the right quality and content is essential for a more professional visual representation of a project.
In 54 hours you can gain the basic knowledge of graphic design and usage of its appropriate softwares: Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
This course is perfect for individuals who want to enter the world of graphic design, despite their current field of work or study. Anyone can be a designer, as long as they have interest or passion for design. This course is also for people who have always wanted to be designers, but didn’t know how to start. After finishing this course, one can continue in more specific fields such as 3D design, animation, packaging, web design, etc.
By starting this course you are entering a new profession, where opportunities are endless, and the exposure, limitless. In fact, due to the exponential development of technology, it could be said that graphic design is one of the professions of the future. With only an idea, a pencil, and a laptop you can enter the competitive global market.
A study of two-dimensional (2-D) design with emphasis on the visual communication design process. Topics include basic terminology and graphic design principles, introduction to the fundamentals of design that lead to the discovery and comprehension of the visual language. Form, balance, structure, rhythm, and harmony are studied in black and white and in color. Various media will be used. Foundation laid for advanced courses in design

Classes are computer-based, with presentations given by a main projector, where I will do most of the explaining. Then there will be lots of discussions, and of course, a lot of hands-on work for the students.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the elements of graphic design. Read, understand and communicate in the language of graphic design. Use technology such as Phototshop, Illustrator, and Internet Browsers. Students will learn to demonstrate positive work behavior. Students will learn to solve problems using critical thinking.
