About this Program

The TechEco Pathways project, funded by LuxDev, aims to foster sustainable economic growth in Kosovo by addressing critical skill gaps in renewable energy and ICT.

The DevelopHer Kosova (Part of TechEco Pathways) program empowers young women in Kosovo through comprehensive technology training. It tackles youth unemployment and the gender gap in the tech industry by creating female role models with global opportunities. Its mission is to increase women’s participation in the ICT workforce and improve graduate employment rates.

This training is supported by the "Skills for Sustainable Jobs in Kosovo" project, funded by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and implemented by the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation together with LuxDev, the Luxembourg Development Cooperation Agency.

TRAINING CURRICULA – GRAPHIC DESIGN

Graphic design is the process of visual communication and problem-solving through the use of typography, photography, iconography and illustration.

Abstract:

A graphic designer is someone with super powers and this is not an exaggeration. Graphic Designers can create visual concepts for anything and as such, can get employed in a myriad of companies and industries or to work on their own as a freelancers who can do their job from the comfort of their home or anywhere. In the digital era that we are living, graphic design has been an essential skill for individuals but a mandatory job for almost all businesses. When you mix hard work, having fun with it, being consistent, and the know-how of using the right tools you will be a very serious candidate for a job that a lot of companies are struggling to find. Join us so that we learn the basics of Graphic Design and let me share my 10+ years experience while i treat the course with as much fun as possible. Creating should be enjoyable and that is exactly what i do with my daily work. I am going to bring that to the class room.

TRAINING CURRICULA – UI/UX DESIGN

This 60-hour UI/UX course teaches key skills in user research, design, prototyping, and testing. Participants will gain practical experience and build a portfolio to launch a career in UI/UX design.

Elmedine Ramushi is a Product Designer with 5+ years of experience in UI/UX, branding, and digital strategy. She has worked with clients across Kosovo, Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, and the U.S., designing web and mobile products that are both functional and visually engaging. Now a UI/UX Design Lecturer at ICK, Elmedine brings her industry knowledge and user-centered mindset into the classroom, helping shape the next generation of designers.

Currently, he works as a freelancer and collaborates with clients from all around the world to bring creative and innovative projects to life.

Erris is a designer with experience in a variety of complex projects covering branding, visuals, campaigns, and web development. Proficient in UI, UX, graphic design, and motion graphics, including 3D animations. Erris also develops websites on popular platforms like WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, and More.
