Still sailing the entrepreneurial waters – GEW day five!

“Marketing is a contest for people’s attention”, said once Seth Godin – an American author, entrepreneur, marketer, and public speaker.

And so the fifth GEW day started with the workshop on Marketing Strategy, lead by the Center for Entrepreneurship and Executive Development – CEED in Kosovo, held in Hotel Sirius. Aspiring entrepreneurs, startupers, and others interested on the topic were given another remarkable chance to gain hands-on experience on how to find the best way to get people’s attention, and the math behind it.

Following these lines, the Digital Platforms for Businesses event offered a great opportunity to the small-business community in Kosovo to find out about three different platforms which can help businesses manage their operations, increase visibility, target audiences more effectively, increase sales, improve collaborate and grow worldwide. 1., 2., 3.

The lunchtime with MDA Foundation offered another networking occasion where interesting and insightful presentations and discussions were made with the Kosovar Startup Community.

To complement the marketing strategy skills gained during the beginning of the day, CEED offered another excellent learning opportunity with their workshop on “Sales Techniques”. Ways on how to identify different types of sales positions and selecting the right sales strategy were one of the key points of the afternoon.

Later during the day, Albanian-American entrepreneurs, who have proven that they know how to make the business puzzle work successfully, have been invited by Solaborate and Innovation Centre Kosovo – ICK to share their success stories in front of a wide-range audience, including both aspiring and experienced entrepreneurs, experts from different fields, and others who just like to hear inspiring non-fiction tales.

The day ended with the networking meeting of Young Entrepreneurs at the American University in Kosovo – AUK, one of the leading academic institutions in Kosovo, and the start of the Innovation Centre Kosovo – ICK iOS programming training, which is supported by the British Council in Kosovo.

We will let you know which entrepreneurial waters we will sail on tomorrow!
