Meet Azdren - the young entrepreneur who is combining programming with entrepreneurship

That’s when he started looking for programs that would combine his technical skills with the entrepreneurship side. He often considered developing his own ICT software company business and was thinking in starting to create connections and partnerships with European and global companies, considering that the ICT field is flourishing in Kosovo in recent years. It was the perfect timing when he discovered the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs Program, a program that checked all the boxes in his list of objectives. Being an IT oriented guy, he chose ICK as his intermediary organization. Moreover, he stated that his skill will be a great contribution to his host in improving the company’s product and services.

Through this program, Azdren joined Montedelgallo, a digital company offering software solutions, based in Rome Italy. There he had the chance to be hosted by one of the founders of the company. At the time the company was building a fleet management software for vehicle rental companies, operating in Italy. Under Giovanni’s mentorship, Azdren interacted with a wide range of clients, took part in a variety of meetings and learned how to run company tasks. All these activities assisted Azdren in thinking carefully on how to improve his business plan and his vision for his company.

While being in Italy, Azdren learned a lot about the culture, food and people he met there. The exchange was very beneficial for Azdren. Thanks to this program, Azdren has a better understanding of how a company is run, how marketing strategies work and how the market in this industry works. Furthermore, he learned how to negotiate with clients and he also became better in time management skills, when it comes to providing software services to clients. His business plan is also improved, under the host’s mentorship.
