The Innovation Centre Kosovo is happy to announce the Hack the Drone Competition (Hackadrone) – a high-intensity, two-day innovation challenge designed to push the boundaries of engineering, safety, and flight.
The Hack the Drone Competition is a two-day innovation challenge that brings together students, young professionals, and aspiring engineers to design, build, configure, and pilot micro FPV drone systems under real-world technical and safety constraints.

THE CHALLENGE
Teams will navigate through five rigorous challenges that test technical reasoning, hardware skill, and strategic thinking:
- Embedded Systems: Master BetaFlight setup, firmware flashing, and CLI tuning.
- Hardware Repair: Prove your skills in soldering, continuity testing, and weight management.
- RF and Telemetry: Secure radio binding and VTX discipline with optional IoT integration.
- Flight Control: Navigate official flight heats with stability, consistency, and precision.
- Pitching Application: Connect your drone system to real-world use cases (logistics, emergency response, monitoring, or inspection).
