This Innovation Challenge is a key activity of the TechEco Pathway Project, funded by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, implemented by the Luxembourg Agency for Development Cooperation (LuxDev) in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (MESTI). The overall project aims to contribute to sustainable economic growth in Kosovo by addressing critical skill gaps in the renewable energy and ICT sectors.

This specific challenge, the Energy Saving Hackathon, is designed to prepare VET students, innovators, and aspiring entrepreneurs to unleash their creativity in designing impactful, sustainable solutions to reduce energy consumption. The project also fosters a culture of innovation and promotes gender equality through targeted training and development programs.

The 3-day event will bring together participants to co-create practical solutions that promote energy efficiency, reduce waste, and inspire behavioral change. Whether you apply as an individual or as part of a team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate, prototype, and pitch your ideas with guidance from expert mentors.
