Meet bevuta IT and their head of development, Mr. Moritz Heidkamp in Prishtina;
Thursday, December 4 starting 6.30pm at the Innovation Centre Kosovo.
6:30 - 6:45 Registration and Opening Remarks
6:45 - 7:30 Session 1 “Introduction to Ruby on Rails”
Ruby on Rails is a framework renowned for having advanced the status quo of web development considerably. By now it has reached its fourth major version and been constantly improved since its initial release in 2005. While there are many frameworks heavily inspired by Rails for other programming languages these days (like Symphony for PHP), none of them quite compare to Rails still. This is mostly due to Ruby being such an expressive and versatible programming language. In this presentation Moritz Heidkamp will give an overview of Rails core features as well as shed some light on how they are made possible by Ruby. To that end he will give live code demonstrations during the presentation so you are invited to bring your notebooks to follow along and give it a try, too!
7:30 - 7:45 Q/A
7:45 - 8:30 Session 2 - Headhunting potential programmers from Kosova.
Register at firstname.lastname@example.org by writing “bevutaIT” to the subject.
